Privacy Policy

AMS Industries LLC dba Harlan’s Stuff That Spins (“Vendor”), like many companies, will end up with some of your data. This describes what kind of data and what happens with it.

Personally-Identifying Information (PII)

If you contact us, we will gather enough information about you to determine that you are an authorized end-user of the equipment (you live at the place whose laundry you’re using) and will maintain that information in perpetuity. If you’ve moved away from a property served by the Vendor, you may ask in writing for your PII to be deleted and that request will be honored within fourteen (14) business days.

Surveillance Recordings

In some instances, laundries may have surveillance devices. Some of these belong to their respective properties and have no relation with the Vendor. Please check with those properties for information on their data retention policies.

In some instances, Vendor may place, with the property owner’s permission, cameras to capture recordings of the equipment for diagnostic and maintenance purposes. These devices do not capture audio and it is immaterial to the Vendor if you speak poorly of them while in proximity to these devices. Recordings of these sort are retained typically no more than two weeks, though in some cases they may be retained for up to two years.

Some devices do not capture recognizable images or pictures, but instead capture other information such as whether someone is standing in front of a machine or is lying on the floor.
